SportWorks delivers a range of community services which are targeted at children and young adults with a disability or additional need. Each of our programmes are designed to provide opportunities for individuals to have fun, learn new skills, improve health whilst building independence.
Our work focuses on improving health and social outcomes by using sport as a means of engaging children and adults in a range of physical and social activities.
Research shows that people with additional needs are less likely to engage in sport and leisure activities when compared to their non-disabled peers. Our work is focused on addressing this trend and ensuring all people are able to access high quality opportunities.
Additional Needs Forms are held in confidence, securely within our service.
