At Sport Works we believe playing sport builds confidence, develops social skills and leads to a healthy lifestyle
At Sport Works we believe playing sport builds confidence, develops social skills and leads to a healthy lifestyle.
In conjunction with Cambridgeshire County Council we deliver a range of sport-based services to children and young people with a disability or additional needs as part of the Activity Project Framework. The activities provide a platform for children to try different sports and develop their skills on a weekly basis.
Our clubs are also designed to give parents/carers a short break. We have a staff structure in place to support the children and young people who come along to our clubs and we discuss their individual requirements with all parents/carers before they attend.
In Cambridge our club takes place between 9.30am and 12.30pm on a Saturday during term time.
Please contact us to find out more about our clubs or how your child or young person can come along.
One way you can access Sport Works activities is if you are receiving a self directed personalised budget for your child/young person. For more information on this please contact your allocated Social Worker or Early Help Co-coordinator.
