Sport Works currently operates from eleven sites across England and we are proud of the impact our work has on both communities and individuals. The Community Sports Tutor role is key to delivering our high quality, impactful provision across the North East of England.
What you are going to do in the role of Community Sports Tutor:
- To prepare and implement well-structured and progressive programmes ensuring a high quality, enjoyable experience centred on the needs of the participants.
- To coordinate and deliver sporting and educational programmes, encouraging attendance in particular, by children and adults who do not usually participate in sport or physical activity.
- Complete monitoring documents that will highlight the impact of the programmes.
- Effectively communicate with the North East team to ensure targets are met and quality of delivery is of a high level.
- Deliver sessions from various sites across the North East.
- Be flexible in your approach to work, with evening and weekend sessions.
